After being gone from the house for 2 days a couple weeks ago, we came home, opened the bathroom door, and saw this. According to our neighbor, we had not been gone 5 minutes Sunday morning when he heard the chicken banging around in the house. Monday night he saw it fly out from my bedroom, and we got in at 10 pm. That same night, I got up at 5 am to pee, and in squatting, found myself nose-to-nose with this mouse in our shower bucket. HELLO! I tried to drown the mouse by adding water, but at 9:30 am I checked on it, and it was still swimming, crying (in Kelly's imagination): "I wanna live! I wanna live!"
